When we first read the wedding vows that my husband and I made to each other, the words that sat most strongly in our hearts were the words “to love and to cherish”. This massive life commitment, the promises that we made were rock solid in faithfulness, trust and perseverance but we also promised to treasure each other, to hold each other and love each other each step of the way. I believe that photography gives you something tangible from your day. It tells the story of your promises, it captures your emotions and vulnerabilities, and it gives you moments to cherish.

Now that we have our beautiful daughter, these moments are even more precious. The simple, the slow, the everyday moments all seem like a currency - treasure that comes and then goes too readily. My newborn so quickly became a baby, and my baby grows stronger, smarter and more precious everyday.
